Thor's Day Debate

The debate this Thor's day will be the last item in our China themed... Err... Theme...

The debate will be:

SHOULD THE U.S. USE TRADE BARRIERS TO END CHINA'S HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES?

This is the link to the Debatapedia article that will give you SOME of the information that you need:

You must also do some research on your own.
If you do not do research then you will be hanged.
And remember: If you are the main attraction of a hanging then you wont be able to participate in the debate. You will only avoid hanging by posting a brief summary of your opinion on the blog. If you cannot post on the blog you will be hanged.

That is all.

The question if the U.S. should use trade barriers in order to end China's human rights abuses is really hard to answer. On the one side the U.S. sends their troops almost everywhere where they think something is going wrong, on the other side if you just think 200 years back, Europe was doing the same thing. Just because we already had our revolution we can't deny them theirs. You also have to consider how much we rely on trade with China.
