The new Arizona law is completely logical and sound. With it, a state is hoping to take what the government mismanaged into their own hands. This, I think, is going to be a serious cobblestone in the road to stopping illegal imigrants from entering uour country once and for all. Also, our president hopes to implement another step soon, by making it so that corperations cannot hire new employees until they have provided proof that they are now illegal imigrants, coming into the United States according to www.whitehouse.gov/issues/immigration. This is an issue which is stealing money from desperate American workers, hoping that they can get a steady job. What do they find? Illegal imigrants working for half the price and not paying taxes of any sort so that they can't get a job. I am Griffin Stiles.

I believe as a Red Blooded American citizen that them illegals entering our glorious country must be stopped and the Arizona Bill 1070 is a good way to start cleaning up America and restoring it to its former glory. Racism is not asking somebody for their papers if they look asthough they may be here illegally in an effort to stop illegals from taking jobs that these days Americans need. Many may say that they take the jobs that nobody wants to do but that is still not what matters, they are here illegally and that makes it wrong. That sounded very intelligent.

Ok so what I think about the SB1070
State law is this.....RIGHT ON! It’s about time some one stud up and started enforcing the federal law. The illegal aliens are one of the problems with our economy, employers see illegal aliens as a gold mine, cheep labor, with no benefits or union ties, and this puts hard working Americans out of work. So to the Arizona state troopers I say KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!

Arizona's new Senate Bill, 1070, is an immigration bill enacted by the State of Arizona. Which was designed to help control and diminish illegal immigration. The bill basically says that if law enforcement has "probable cause" then they can require proof of citizenship. If proof of citizenship is not provided the felon will be issued a misdemeanor in the State of Arizona and will be deported. I believe that this is an appropriate response on Arizona's behalf. However, there are issues of constitutionality that have brought before the supreme court. Mainly that Arizona has no right to enact and or enforce any immigration pertaining to immigration. In the other side, the argument has been raised that the federal government has acted irresponsibly by not enforcing immigration laws. According to the bill's drafter, Kobach, "this law embodies the doctrine of concurrent enforcement." Which has been accepted in the past. Also, the vast majority of legal citizens, roughly two thirds, within Arizona, along with citizens of the United States, voted that this bill is appropriate. Until the Federal Government is ready to step up and perform its duties as enforcer of immigration this is a fair and appropriate response from the State of Arizona.

My stance in thes debate is quite clear, this bill is a fair response to what is a legitimate problem in Arizona. If Washington had a problem with Illegal russian immigrants and the feds failed to keep them out I would hope that we would do the same. It is Arizona's responsibility to take care of Arizona, and the fact that they have an estimated 460,000 illegal imigrants, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona_SB1070, says the have a problem that needs a solution. For those who would call it racial profiling, does it not make sense to turn your focus to the hispanic population if the problem originates a hispanic country and involves hispanic people. I just think common sense comes into play here.

Arizona’s SB 1070 is a fair law against illegal immigration, because law enforcement should have the right to check some ones immigration status. According to federal law any immigrant living in the U.S must have proof of identification meaning they must have a federal issued identification. If an immigrant can’t prove their citizenship they will be deported. This seems fair, because it has the word illegal in illegal immigrant. Living in the U.S without proof of eligibility to work in the U.S then they shouldn’t be here in the first place. If these immigrants want to be apart of this country then they have to be punished for breaking the federal law just like any other U.S Citizen.

I agree with the “Arizona SB1070” bill 100% for a few reasons. One of the reasons is that illegal immigration is turning into a bigger problem day by day and we aren’t doing much about it. This new bill just gives the bill that is already in session an upgrade because before this bill was legal Mexicans could walk around Arizona with out being afraid of being asked for their papers. So now since this bill is in act illegal Mexicans will be afraid to just simply walk around because any police officer can just see them and ask them for their papers and they would be deported. Another reason is if the Mexican U.S. citizens already living in Arizona are offended by this bill maybe they should leave because they understand the problem. If American citizens go to any other country they have to have their papers on them or they will get arrested, abused, and deported. Illegal Mexicans also come to America and take our jobs and the outcome from that is they don’t pay taxes to help our country build schools, roads, and pay for other needs this country has. They send the money back to Mexico which just makes Mexicans rely on the money from America. Also if workers pay Mexicans money and the Mexicans send the money back to Mexico the money doesn’t get spent back into the system to help our community run straight and smooth. Another reason is that with the drug war going on American citizens are getting murdered, robbed, and kidnapped by the Mexican gangs. All because they can come over the boarder with ease and not get sent back. We need to protect Americans by any means necessary and if that means asking some Hispanic for their papers then big F!@#$$# deal they can go home and cry to there friends. If it means saving American jobs, lives, and country then let the police do there job.
